Nitemazepam (3-hydroxynimetazepam) is a designer drug of the benzodiazepine class, a 3-hydroxy derivative of nimetazepam (7-nitro, instead of 7-chloro). It was developed in the 1970s, but has never been used for medical purposes and has never been commercialized. It found more use as a designer drug, for chemical research in private laboratories.
